Product Information

StemSure® hPSC remover (rBC2LCN-PE38) manufactured by FUJIFILM Wako Pure Chemical Corporation.

StemSure® hPSC remover is a recombinant protein in which a truncated portion (38 kDa) of Psudomonas aeruginosa endotoxin is fused to C-terminus of rBC2LCN. When added to culture medium containing undifferentiated human ES/iPS cells, the hPSC remover can selectively kill and eliminate human ES/iPS cells. Since rBC2LCN has a very high affinity for sugar chains on the cell surface of undifferentiated human ES/iPS cells, it can be used as a marker for undifferentiated human ES/iPS cells. After binding to cell surface glycans, rBC2LCN-PE38 enters the cell, inhibits protein synthesis, and induces cell death.
More potent than rBC2LCN-PE23: StemSure® hPSC remover: recommended concentration is 0.1μg/ml, whilst the recommended concentration for rBC2LCN-PE2 is 10μg/ml.
