Product Information
Human recombinant Interleukin-3 (IL-3) produced by FUJIFILM Wako Chemical Corporation
Interleukin 3 (IL-3) is a multifunctional protein, initially after its discovery it was called colony-forming unit-stimulating activity (CFU-SA), and it is produced by activated lymphocytes. It is known to maintain the formation of multiple lineage colonies in early development of multifunctional hematopoietic precursor cells and induce the colony formation of macrophages, neutrophils, mast cells, and megakaryocytes from bone marrow cells cultured on agar. It also promotes the proliferation of T lymphocytes and induces IgG secretion from activated B cells in interaction with IL-2. IL-3 is also called multipotent haemopoietin, multipotential colony stimulating factor, mast cell growth factor, burst-promoting activity, histamine-producing cell-stimulating factor, P cell stimulating factor, and WEHI-3 factor.
Human Recombinant Interleukin-3 (rhIL-3) 10µg
Expressed in E Coli
Lyophilised without additives
Molecular weight: 15,000
Biological activity: The ED50 is less than 0.1ng/ml, determined by its ability to stimulate the proliferation of human TF-1 cells, corresponding to a specific activity of >1x107 units/mg.
Reconstitute in water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0mg/ml. This working solution can then be diluted into other aqueous buffers.
Endotoxin: less than 0.1ng/µg
Store at -20°C.
For Research Use Only (RUO).
