Interleukin 3 IL-3 produced by FUJIFILM Wako Chemical Corporation
Interleukin 3 (IL-3) stimulates multipotent stem cells and differentiated hematopoietic progenitor cells, promoting their differentiation and proliferation into basophils, mast cells, type-1 and -2 dendritic cells, eosinophils and monocytes. IL-3 also induces histamine release from mature mast cells during proliferation and activation. IL-3 is produced primarily by activated T cells but can also be synthesized by mast cells, thymic epithelial cells and neurons.
This is human recombinant IL-3 (rhIL-3) expressed in E Coli.
Animal-derived-free – this cytokine was produced without using animal derived components in the culture process.
Lyophilised
Molecular weight: 15,000
Biological activity: The ED50 is less than 0.1ng/ml, determined by its ability to stimulate the proliferation of human TF-1 cells, corresponding to a specific activity of >1x107 units/mg.
Reconstitute in water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0mg/ml. This working solution can then be diluted into other aqueous buffers.
Endotoxin: less than 0.1ng/µg
