Granulocyte Colony Stimulating Factor GCSF produced by FUJIFILM Wako Chemical Corporation
G-CSF is a hematopoietic growth factor commonly produced in cells like monocytes, macrophages, fibroblasts, endothelial cells, and bone-marrow stromal cells. It promotes proliferation and differentiation of neutrophil progenitor cells, enhances the function of mature neutrophils, mobilizes hematopoietic stem cells and mature neutrophils to peripheral blood, and stimulates growth of myelogenous leukaemia cells and certain solid cancer cells.
This is human recombinant G-CSF (rhG-CSF) expressed in E Coli.
Animal-derived-free – this cytokine was produced without using animal derived components in the culture process.
Lyophilised from 5mmol/L Sodium Citrated pH4.0.
Molecular weight: 18,700
Biological activity: The ED50 is less than 0.1ng/ml, determined by its ability to stimulate the proliferation of mouse M-NFS-60 cells, corresponding to a specific activity of >1x107 units/mg.
Reconstitute in water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0mg/ml. This working solution can then be diluted into other aqueous buffers.
Endotoxin: less than 0.1ng/µg
