RiboNAT™ Rapid Sterility Test Detection Kit produced by FUJIFILM Wako Chemical Corporation.
RiboNAT™ is a rapid sterility testing kit utilizing the Nucleic Acid Amplification Test (NAT) method. It delivers results in as little as seven hours, significantly reducing testing time compared to conventional sterility testing methods. The kit targets ribosomal RNA (rRNA) unlike standard NAT methods which target genomic DNA – rRNA is present in higher quantities in microorganisms, improving sensitivity.
RiboNAT™ detects a wide range of bacteria (aerobic & anaerobic) and fungi in a single assay while simultaneously reducing false positives from dead microorganisms and residual DNA.
This detection kit is designed to detect purified RNA through One-step Reverse Transcription Real-time PCR (One-step RT-PCR).
The following three component kits, sold separately, are all required to run the RiboNAT™ assay.
