Product Information
Designed to be used with Toxinometer® or microplate reader, the lysate reagent can be dissolved, and the necessary amount can be dispensed in reaction tubes or plates for Quantitative Kinetic Chromogenic Assay (KCA) testing. The reagent is based on the colour development mechanism, which is activated by the presence of endotoxin. First, a series of activations of serine protease precursors in the reagent occur, consequently triggering the final reaction, in which a clotting enzyme hydrolyses the chromogenic substrate to release a yellow chromogen (pNA).
The multi-test vial is ideal for a user with a larger number of samples or products that are turbid.
