Product Information
Anti-Sequestosome 1 SQSTM1 p62 A170 ZIP ubiquitin binding protein, rabbit polyclonal antibody produced by Wako Pure Chemicals
Sequestosome 1 (SQSTM1) is also known as ubiquitin binding protein p62 (human), A170 (mouse) and ZIP (rat). This ubiquitin-binding protein is expressed in response to oxidative stress. Abnormal SQSTM1 leads to a bone metabolic disorder, obesity and Type II diabetes. SQSTM1 was reported to bind LC3, which regulates autophagosome formation. Selective adaptors like SQSTM1 mediate recognition of ubiquitinylated proteins for degradation by the autophagy-lysosomal system. Wako’s SQSTM1 rabbit antiserum is suitable for use in Western blot, immunohistochemistry and immunofluorescence applications.
Anti-SQSTM1 is raised in rabbits using recombinant murine SQSTM1/A170/p62 PEST domains (T7 tag plug ammino acid 254-333 plus His tag) as the immunogen
Reacts with mouse and rat SQSTM1/A170/p62
Slightly reactive with human SQSTM1/A170/p62
Antiserum is diluted with an equal amount of PBS and absorbed with SQSTM1/A170/p62 knockout mouse tissue proteins.
Suggested working concentrations:
Western blot 1:200-1000
Immunohistochemistry 1:400-1000
Immunofluorescence 1:400-1000
Pack size – 100µl.
Store at -20°C.
For Research Use Only.
