Pipetting Controller Cordless 1-100ml Midi Plus™ Sartorius Biohit family for automated liquid aspiration using plastic or glass pipettes

Midi Plus™ is a lightweight cordless pipetting controller, which allows aspiration of liquids from bottles and tubes using glass or plastic pipettes in the range 1-100ml. 5 and 10ml adapters are also available for use with standard pipette tips. The ergonomic design eases the workload in long periods of pipetting and protects the user from Repetitive Strain Injury (RSI). The speed can be fine-tuned by lightly applying varying finger pressure to the operating buttons up to a maximum pipetting speed of 10ml per second. The integrated fold-out stand saves bench space and while the Midi Plus™ is resting on the stand, the glass or plastic pipette is kept off the work surface, thus preventing contamination. The hydrophobic 0.45µm filter prevents over-aspiration, further preventing contamination of the pipetting controller. A 0.2µm pre-sterilised filter is available to order. The nose cone and silicone adapters are autoclaveable to121C for 20 min at 1 bar pressure. The unit is rechargeable. When the battery is low, it can be charged while working. When fully charged, the cord can be unplugged from the device allowing safe and convenient cordless pipetting. The Midi Plus™ comes with 3 rechargeable NiMH batteries which should be replaced after approximately 2000 pipetting cycles. The unit is CE marked and comes with a 2 year warranty.
