Product Information

This blotting insert can be purchased as an optional addition to the Clarit-E Mini Vertical gel tank allowing both PAGE and high intensity blotting to be carried out in the same electrophoresis tank. Units are interchangeable with Clarit-E slab and tube gel inserts. Transfer up to two 10x10cm gels in as little as an hour. Plate electrodes generate a powerful electric field for efficient transfer. Open design, rigid cassettes maximise current transfer and eliminate 'shadow band' formation; colour coded to ensure proper orientation within the blotting system.
