Cluster Tube Strips 1.2ml Loose Non-Sterile Labelled Polypropylene 125 strips of 8 microtubes Refill Pack

Alpha Laboratories non-sterile 1.2ml cluster tubes, also known as organised microtubes or microtube dilution vials, are supplied labelled as 12 x 8-microtube strips that can be used in conjunction with the refillable 8-Microtube Strip Racks with a clear lift off lid (LW9500 or LW9505). The combined system offers a great alternative to deep well plates and is ideal for storage, dilution, mixing, harvesting, culture assays or screening applications. The rack and microtube system is equally suitable as a reaction vessel in robotic workstations or as a long-term storage vessel in a sample library. The 8-microtube strips are made from polypropylene. The refillable rack meets the SBS standard for the dimensional requirements of the footprint of a microplate. The 8-microtube strips can therefore be used with the racks for high throughput screening (HTS) and other applications using automated systems.

The 8-microtube strip has a total length of 71.63mm. Each of the 1.2ml capacity tubes has an inner diameter of 7.11mm, an outer diameter of 8.13mm and an overall height of 44.45mm. The 8-microtube strips are suitable for use within a temperature range of -80C to 121C and are autoclavable. They are certified RNase, DNase DNA and Pyrogen free.

Low Density Polyethylene strip caps for sealing the microtube strips are available to order separately (LW9540).

These 1.2ml 12 x 8-Microtube Strips are supplied in a pack 125 strips of 8 Microtubes.
