SealPlate® RollMate™ pre-scored film in a roll format. Ideal for Lab use, storage, incubation, ELISA, EIA and similar assays.

SealPlate® 50µm thickness sealing films minimize evaporation, prevent spillage and contamination between wells, and provide a secure seal, not just a cover. Secure sealing of all wells eliminates edge effects in sensitive ELISA assays (e.g. greater evaporation in the outside plate wells). They can also be used with tissue-culture plates for short-term storage, incubation, and containment of biohazards.

This rigid polyester film is easy-to-remove with good clarity and features one removable writeable end-tab with perforations for easy handling and plate identification. Can be used as a temporary economical seal while awaiting further processing.

The roll format provides an economical, efficient way to rapidly seal microplates; faster than applying single sheeted films. It’s self-standing, non-slip supports holds the pre-scored film roll securely in place for quick and easy dispensing. The continuous backing liner can be torn off or fed directly into a waste basket for disposal and the roll unwind tension can be easily adjusted to user preference (e.g. loose, tight).

SealPlate sealing films can also be used with tissue-culture plates for short-term storage, incubation, and containment of biohazards. SealPlate sealing films are non-pierceable. In the roll of 500 sheets, each SealPlate sealing film measures 121.9mm x 79.4mm (LxW). The functional temperature range is from -40C to +120C.
