When heat sealing, films are welded to the microplate, resulting in a secure and effective seal without the use of adhesives. ClearASeal Perf Heat Seal Sheets are optically clear film with perforations, 3m slits across the width of the seal make them gas permeable whilst minimising evaporation. Ideal for cell culture applications, short incubations, insect studies or seed storage. Compatible with polystyrene, polypropylene, polyethylene and cyclic olefin copolymer plates, the seal can be removed by peeling.

•Optically clear
•3mm slits for gas transfer
•Seal integrity range: -80C to +110C
Supplied as pre-cut sheets,125 x 78mm, for use with manual and semi-automated heat sealers. Seal at 175C for 2 seconds. Sterile sheets are also offered (IST-111-078SS).
Additionally available in 500m x 78mm rolls for use with automated heat-sealing instruments (IST-111-078LR).
