A 48 µm soft non-permeable aluminum foil sealing film with 30 µm layer of strong acrylic adhesive. eXTReme™ FoilSeals™ feature a specially formulated adhesive that provides an excellent seal for all plate materials and is especially well suited for dual component (polycarbonate/polypropylene) plates. There is currently no other seal on the market that is targeted for these plate types. The advantage over other products is that the adhesive removes cleanly from various plate materials with no stringing, residue or contamination.
Dimensionally the product is sized to be compatible with both raised rim and flat top plates, ensuring usability for all customers with sealing foil needs. Each sealing foil measures 78.3 x 129 mm and offers sufficient sealing area for all plate types (e.g. flat top and raised-rim). The seal has chamfered corners and will not extend beyond the top edge of the plate which makes this product ideal for robotics handling. Features one end-tab with perforations. Length between the perforation with end tab removed and the end of the foil seal is 118.1 mm

Completing application of eXTReme™ FoilSeal™ sealing films to plates without a raised rim by pressing with the accessory plate roller (RL-PLT-01) assures a secure uniform seal around all wells.

Film sealing paddles (PDL-5) are an alternative to the plate roller for pressing sealing film to assure a secure uniform seal around all wells on a raised rim or flat topped microplate
