Product Information

The BD Vacutainer® Z (No Additive) Plus Urine Tube collection tube. These are single use, evacuated, sterile urine collection tubes, intended for the collection and primary containment of urine specimens derived from the human body for the purpose of in-vitro diagnostic examination.
The PET tubes are available in a range of size and can be identified by a beige cap.

This PET tube has a 9.5ml draw volume and measures 16mm diameter and 75mm height with a spray dried K2EDTA 1.8mg/mL additive within the tube as recommended by the ICSH (International Council Society of Haematology). The beige cap has the BD Hemogard™ tube closure, designed to protect from urine which may splatter when the tube is opened. The rubber stopper is recessed inside the plastic shield, preventing exposure to urine present on the stopper.

Provided in boxes of 100 tubes.
