Product Information

Sperm-Chex® Post VC is a positive/negative control intended for monitoring post vasectomy sperm counts performed manually using commercially available counting chambers to validate the presence or absence of sperm in seminal fluids.

Sperm-Chex Post VC control contains stabilised mammalian sperm in a preservative medium and a blank or negative control diluent.

Microscopic evaluation of post vasectomy semen is a crucial part of the vasectomy process. The post vasectomy sperm count validates that the vasectomy procedure was successful. When handled like a patient sample, Sperm Chex Post VC controls will provide a positive sperm count sample and a negative sperm count sample to validate the manual post vasectomy sperm count procedure.

Sperm-Chex Post VC has 12-month closed-vial and 42-days open-vial stability.
