A single-use home faecal elastase kit for patient collection and transportation to the laboratory for analysis. This kit features the BÜHLMANN CALEX Cap, an extraction device pre-filled with buffer for the preparation of faecal samples
The elastase test is used to determine how well your pancreas is working by measuring elastase levels in your stool, helping to identify a condition called pancreatic insufficiency.
The CALEX® Cap device can be loaded directly onto many automated ELISA processors and clinical chemistry analysers without the need to decant or dilute the sample. It also shows excellent correlation with the gold standard weighing method.
