They feature a unique 10 micron pore size filter. The pores of this filter are 100% smaller than those of most aerosol tips. This blocks aerosols and liquids, guaranteeing that the barrel of the pipette remains clean and free from DNA, radionucleotides and other contaminants. The tips are autoclavable to 121 C for 20 minutes. Tips are made from highest quality, medical grade resins and are tested and certified to be free of RNase, DNase,Human DNA. They are also certified non-pyrogenic including the filter itself. The racks are refillable with non-filter tips using Fastrak tip refill, product code FR3020.
