Chances are you've never heard of Bioer. However they are a force to be reckoned with in the Thermal Cycler field. In fact their Peltier technology forms the heart of many leading thermal cyclers throughout the world. So you have probabaly already been using their products in your current thermal cycler.
Bioer's name derives from 'Biological Pioneer' and they are one of the largest suppliers of PCR equipment in the world. Though you may not see their name on the package you have probably already used a product made with their expertise! Bioer Technology Ltd. is Japanese owned and founded by the Ferrotec Corporation Tokyo Japan - the world leader in the manufacture of Peltier elements.
They are committed to researching and manufacturing hi-tech products for life science laboratories including thermal cyclers, heating and cooling blocks and other equipment.
A few years ago they decided to make their technology available under their own name. All their expertise and experience is built into a superb range of Thermal Cyclers and life science equipment. These are produced in a state of the art facility in Hangzhou, China (see pictures). This massive unit has a floor space of 26,000m2 and utilises the latest computer technology throughout the production process that strictly follows the international ISO13485 standard for medical devices.
Bioer are delighted to work with Alpha Laboratories to provide top class service and expertise to complement their superb products.
The Thermal Cyclers from Bioer have a fine pedigree built in, and as you'd expect from a leading manufacturer, there are plenty of good reasons to choose Bioer and Alpha for your next cycler.
The advanced GenePro Thermal Cycler has excellent temperature uniformity and control to ensure rapid thermal cycling and reliable results. It's also highly versatile with its interchangeable blocks that allow you to use a complete range of consumables. The gradient blocks, in either 96 or 384 well format, provide the opportunity to optimise protocols efficiently. The dual block gives the additional benefit of running two independent cycles at the same time.In addition, control can be directly from the unit, a computer or through a network. All options are easy and intuitive to use making viewing, editing and running protocols fast and efficient. GenePro is ideal for PCR applications in molecular biology, genetics, microbiology, medical, food industry, forensics, environmental science and many other fields.
The GenePro main body accepts five interchangeable blocks for superb adaptability. The special design makes block change more convenient and fast. Blocks are automatically detected by the instrument without manual setting. The uniquely designed dual blocks can be run at the same time with two different PCR programmes. The large screen shows the operational status of each block in real time so that one machine equates to two thermal cyclers!
The use of advanced peltier technology and multi-sensor modules ensure that the gradient blocks can produce a maximum 30°C gradient range, thus greatly reducing the time for optimising PCR conditions.
Two temperature control modes - block or tube simulation control mode.
Three kinds of data storage - instrument, USB flash memory interface, LAN networked to a computer.
Three modes of operation - computer controlled, stand alone, LAN networked.
Five blocks for ultimate flexibility.Blocks are made from aluminium alloy. All blocks have integral hot-lid and are temperature and pressure adjustable, except for the in-situ block.
Interchangeable Blocks
The XP Thermal Cycler was designed to meet the needs of the modern molecular biology laboratory. The use of peltier thermo-electronic (te) modules ensures excellent performance control. This makes the instrument suitable for use in a wide variety of experiments, which require precise temperature programming and control.
Advanced design with exceptional performance
XP thermal cyclers use advanced peltier technology to deliver accuracy, economy, high speed ramping rates, better thermal uniformity, with no-pollution and low noise.
Powerful software
The XP Cycler is the revolutionary multifunction thermal cycler. With eight different interchangeable blocks, the instrument can meet the demands of a range of different PCR protocols using a variety of PCR consumables. Its fast ramping rate and precise temperature control ensure speed and accuracy during use. Its large screen display and user-friendly interface make programming simple. The machine automatically recognises which block is in use - no need for manual setting.
The instrument can recognise blocks and then load the relevant software automaticallyBlocks comprise of a hot lid and aluminium alloy forming the wells. Temperature and pressure of the hot lid are adjustable Includes single and dual blocks for 0.2ml tubes, 0.5ml tubes, strip tubes, 96-well plates, 384-well plates and in situ slides

The Little Genius Personal Thermal Cycler was designed to meet the needs of the modern molecular biology laboratory. The use of peltier thermo-electronic (te) modules ensures excellent performance control. This makes the instrument suitable for use in a wide variety of experiments which require precise temperature programming and control.
Little Genius thermal cyclers use advanced peltier technology to deliver accuracy, economy, high speed ramping rate, better thermal uniformity, no-pollution and low noise.
The ThermoCell Mixing block combines the functions of mixing and precise temperature control, providing a convenient means to incubate and react samples. This unit employs Peltier Effect heat exchange technology to provide accurate, stable temperature control. It can be used with a selection of interchangeable blocks for plates or tubes.
Features:
Two models - a heating block and a heating and cooling block, both without mixing. Small and lightweight this reliable design has multiple easily exchanged blocks including a unique water bath block. They are programmable, with a wide temperature range, excellent temperature stability and a large VFD display.
*NB: The rate is tested under the environmental temperature between 20°C to 25°C using the block B.
Note: Block E (water bath block) is not suitable for use with the mixing block.
