Alpha Laboratories has been a pioneer in bringing innovative pipette tip refill systems to the market for many years. The Automatic Tip Loading – Alpha System (A.T.L-A.S.) introduced in 1995 was a revolution in tip loading devices, allowing users to refill racks 20 times faster than by hand without contamination from hands or gloves. Now more than 14 years later Alpha is still leading the way, building on the success of A.T.L-A.S. with its latest development, the Fastrak tip refill system. In a completely new format, it is rapidly becoming the first choice for environmentally and cost conscious scientists.

Fastrak makes refilling your pipette tip racks quick and easy. Using the unique transfer top, you can refill racks in seconds without touching the tip or supporting wafer. The outer box is recloseable to eliminate unnecessary exposure of the tips to the atmosphere.
From an environmental standpoint, Fastrak goes significantly beyond any other refill system to reduce its carbon footprint.
The packaging weight and volume is minimised to reduce the fuel consumed in transportation and to facilitate storage in crowded labs. It is made from 95% renewable materials and the printing inks are all vegetable based. The supporting base of the tip refill tower is produced from corn starch and is the industry's first compostable, non-petroleum bio-plastic. All in all, Fastrak is the most eco-friendly tip refill system on the market.
High Grade Resins - Fastrak employs only high quality tips you can trust. All tips are made with non-cytotoxic, medical grade, 100% virgin polypropylene. Each batch of refills is always tested and certified for extractables (Rnase,Dnase and human DNA) to ensure no interference in PCR or DNA work. Sterile refills are also tested for endotoxin contamination. Metals testing is performed on the resin substrate on a batch by batch basis.
Tip Fit - Fastrak tips are designed to fit a wide range of pipettes, which simplifies tip sourcing for the laboratory. Each batch of tips is thoroughly tested on pipettes for which they are designed to be used - your assurance of accuracy and precision with your pipette, time after time.

Ultrafine- For the ultimate in accuracy, Fastrak includes tips denoted “Ultrafine”. These feature a uniquely thin and flexible top that fits the pipette cone like a glove. They also include an unbevelled point that is so precise you can easily expel the tiniest amount of sample
Tip Racks – Fastrak refills many brands of pipette tip racks in addition to Alpha. The Alpha racks however have a host of benefits including a special, patented lock-down mechanism to hold the refill securely in place. Empty racks are available for direct filling.
