Proline Electronic Pipette
Biohit Proline Electronic pipettes were introduced in 1991 and over the years, they have successfully delivered rapid results with consistently high levels of accuracy and precision. They are ideal for a wide range of pipetting tasks and have all the common liquid handling protocols built-in. The light-touch operating button and four finger tip ejector lever avoid user strain and fatigue.
Proline Electronic pipettes are available in single channel models covering the voluime range from 0.2-5000µl and multi-channel models from 0.2-1200µl.

Proline Electronic Accessories
Proline Electronic pipettes are supplied with the following accessories:
- Rack of Tips
- Pipettor Grease
- Safe-Cone Filters (for SC volumes >100µl & MC volumes >10µl)
Please note that Proline Electronic pipettes require a charging stand which is not included with the unit. See ordering information under 'Stands' for available options.
Proline Electronic Stands and Replacement Items
The Proline Electronic pipette is charged using either a 1-place charging stand or a 4-place charging carousel. The compact design of the 4-place charging carousel is ideal for saving bench space in the laboratory and has a convenient rotating head. The linear stand is a universal stand to store all Biohit pipettes safely when not in use. It does not however have a charging facility.

Safe-Cone Filters
These unique and replaceable polyethylene (PE) filters act as a barrier to prevent any fluids and liquid vapours from reaching the internal components of the pipette. This results in several benefits:
- Pipette and sample are protected from contamination
- Pipette lifetime is maximised
- Maintenance intervals are extended
- Good value for money
There are two types of Safe-Cone filter:
Standard
Range
- For general purpose use
Plus Range - For more demanding applications such as radioactive studies, cell culture, bacterial and virological work and molecular biology
Safe-Cone filters are available for all models with a volume greater than 10µl They should be replaced after 50-250 pipetting cycles.
