Calprotectin Rapid Test (Cal Detect)

A rapid, semi-quantitative Calprotectin test that can be used wither in the laboratory or the clinic.

A collection device is used to add a sample of faeces to the extraction buffer, which is then mixed and added to a test cassette. It is a fast and simple point-of-care test which offers rapid results obtained within 5 mins and requires no specialist testing equipment. The performance characteristics of CalDetect have been proven to be similar to that of an established ELISA*
