Alpha kits integral to combating this killer disease

Around 1 in 20 people in the UK will develop bowel cancer (colorectal) cancer during their lifetimes: it's the country's third most common cancer and the second leading cause of cancer deaths, with over 16,000 people dying from it each year. The good news is that regular screening has been shown to significantly reduce deaths resulting from the disease, and major national screening programmes are under way in England and Scotland.
